A Health Goal Coach is a coach who gets to know your health, your body and your habits, and helps you reach any health goal you have. It asks for your input every day and adapts with you, until the goal is achieved.
The short answer
A Health Goal Coach is a coach for the whole journey, not for a single appointment. Three ideas define it.
- It understands youYour health, your body and your habits, not a generic profile.
- It works toward your goalAny health goal you have, whether that is losing weight, building muscle or feeling better every day.
- It checks in every dayIt asks for your input daily and adapts with you, until your goal is achieved.
The third idea is what sets a Health Goal Coach apart. Most health advice is given once and then left for you to follow alone. A Health Goal Coach stays with you, learns from what you tell it each day, and keeps adjusting.
Where the term comes from
“Health Goal Coach” is a term coined by Sthiroot Private Limited, an Indian company. It was publicly announced on 4 October 2026 at Reset 2026, a health summit held at Narayani Heights.
The term describes a new kind of health support: one built around a person’s goal and present every day, rather than built around a single plan or a single consultation. Jeeya, the app made by Sthiroot, is the first Health Goal Coach.
Why a new term was needed
People already have plenty of sources of health knowledge: doctors, dietitians, nutritionists, trainers, books, videos and apps. What is usually missing is the daily part.
A plan is written on day one. Then real life starts. You eat out on Tuesday, sleep badly on Wednesday, travel on Friday. A plan on paper does not know any of that, so it quietly stops working, and the person usually blames themselves instead of the plan.
A Health Goal Coach is designed around that gap. It does not hand over advice and disappear. It asks, listens, and changes the plan when your week changes.
The 80/20 healthy formula
Jeeya’s coaching starts from a simple idea: in everyday life, what you eat does most of the work, and how you move does the rest. Think of three meals and a snack every day, against one workout. That is roughly 80 percent food and 20 percent movement, which is why the plan begins with meals you will actually enjoy. You can see it explained on the Jeeya home page.
What a Health Goal Coach understands about you
A good coach cannot help with a goal it does not understand. A Health Goal Coach learns four things about you.
Your health
The health conditions, injuries and food allergies you tell it about, so that suggestions fit you and do not work against you.
Your body
Your age, sex, height and weight, and the weight you want to reach, so that targets such as daily calories are set for your body and not for an average person.
Your habits
When you eat, how you sleep, how much water you drink, how often you eat outside, how active your day is, and what you like to eat. If someone cooks for you, that matters too.
Your goal
Where you want to get to, and at what pace. A goal has a direction, and a good coach keeps checking whether you are moving toward it.
How a Health Goal Coach works, every single day
- Set the goal together. You say what you want, such as losing weight, building healthy muscle or feeling better day to day.
- Get to know you. It asks about your health, body and habits once, properly, so it does not need to guess later.
- Build a plan that fits real life. A fresh 7-day plan of meals you like, with room for a weekly Freedom Day, so that a good week never has to feel strict.
- Ask for your input, every day. You log what you ate with a photo or a few words, answer a short check-in about sleep, mood, energy and water, and your phone’s steps and sleep can be included.
- Adjust. A quick weekly weigh-in keeps your calorie target accurate, and the plan can be rebuilt any day so it always starts from today.
- Repeat until the goal is achieved. The daily loop continues until you get there, and then you can set the next goal.
The key word is every. A Health Goal Coach does not wait for your next appointment. Your input today shapes what it suggests tomorrow.
Health Goal Coach vs dietitian, nutritionist, trainer and diet app
A Health Goal Coach is more than a traditional dietitian or nutritionist, and it is easiest to see why side by side.
| Main job | How often it is with you | Knows your daily habits? | Changes as you change? | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Dietitian or nutritionist | Expert advice and a diet plan | Scheduled sessions | Only what you report in the session | At the next session |
| Personal trainer | Workouts and exercise form | Training sessions | Mostly your gym time | Rarely between sessions |
| Calorie-counting app | Records what you enter | Whenever you open it | Only what you type | Not by itself |
| Health Goal Coach | Understands you and coaches you to your goal | Every day, until the goal is achieved | Yes, from your daily input | Every day |
A traditional dietitian or nutritionist is a trained professional who gives you expert advice and a plan. A Health Goal Coach does that kind of planning too, and then goes further in one specific way: it is present every day. It knows what you ate yesterday, how you slept, and whether this week looks like last week.
Works alongside, not instead of. A Health Goal Coach does not replace your doctor or a registered dietitian. If you have a medical condition, keep seeing them. A Health Goal Coach covers the daily part of the journey that sits between appointments.
Who a Health Goal Coach is for
- People who want to lose weight and keep it off without extreme diets.
- People who want to build healthy muscle and need their food and routine to match.
- Busy professionals who would rather have the next meal decided for them.
- Families who rely on a cook, and want the recipe and the shopping list to reach the kitchen.
- Anyone who has tried a diet that worked until real life got in the way.
- Anyone who simply wants steadier energy, better sleep and a healthier routine.
What a Health Goal Coach is not
- Not a doctor. It does not diagnose or treat any condition.
- Not an emergency service. If you feel unwell, contact a doctor or emergency services.
- Not perfect. It gives general nutrition and wellness guidance and can make mistakes, so use your own judgement and speak to a professional about anything medical, including pregnancy and medication.

How is a Health Goal Coach different from a dietitian or nutritionist?
A traditional dietitian or nutritionist gives expert advice and a plan, usually in scheduled sessions. A Health Goal Coach does that planning too, and then stays with you every day, learning from your daily input and adjusting until your goal is achieved. It works alongside doctors and dietitians and does not replace them.
Is a Health Goal Coach a doctor?
No. A Health Goal Coach gives general nutrition and wellness guidance. It does not diagnose or treat medical conditions, and it can make mistakes. For medical advice, always speak to your doctor.
Can a Health Goal Coach help with any health goal?
It is built around the goal you set, such as losing weight, building healthy muscle or feeling better day to day. If your goal involves a medical condition, use it alongside your doctor’s advice.
How much input does a Health Goal Coach need from me?
A little, every day. That means logging what you eat, answering a short daily check-in about sleep, mood, energy and water, and a quick weekly weigh-in. The daily input is what lets the coach adjust to you.
